Lots of debate surrounding Ezra Klein’s demand of, and rejection by, WaPo/Besos for significant investment. Thus, until this week, Ezra was synonymous with Wonkblog – Washington Post policy blog. But now, starting next week, it sounds as if we can expect an eponymous digital publication from Ezra.
Personal branded media companies from powerful journalists have proven somewhat successful thus far, but in today’s digital publishing climate, it feels like a rather cloudy outlook. Yet WaPo certainly doesn’t need to loose any assets. So who’s crazier?… here are just a couple opinions:
