deadlinecom: Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) Oscar Isaac was terrific in this film, though his character was a bit of an annoying sad sack. The soundtrack, produced by T-Bone Burnett, was even better. Weirdly, I was at the Arclight theater in Hollywood about 10 days ago and they had so many copies of the soundtrack CD that they were giving them away. I happily took one home, and enjoyed terrific period and period-sounding music from Isaac, Justin Timberlake, Bob Dylan, Dave van Ronk and others. Doubt the Arclight has any free copies left, but this CD is definitely worth picking up. It’s pitch perfect for the era it depicts.  He produced the “O Brother, Where Art Thou” soundtrack as well which is incredible.
